Stealer

I was taking part in the suggestion post over at IDVs place last week. Some of his most faithful readers got together and suggested what he might post about since Stella lost her groove. Poor Stella, I thought. At least it didn't happen to me. Well, it has. Turns out, I've probably been in a funk (and not in the good way, that is if there is a good way when it comes to funk) for a while.

So I've decided to steal, or borrow (although I have no plans to give it back) a suggestion. Post a photo of a household item. I'm actually doing the opposite, because I don't have any CD racks. The shame! All my CDs have been unceremoniously dumped into a moving box where my CDs rest until I find the right racks.

It looks so sad, doesn't it? Not the fact that I own an Alanis Morisette CD, that album with the hideous Madonna face on it or that Spice Girls Greatest Hits thing, but the whole thing all dumped in the box. I need to do something about that soon. Maybe I'll just stack them up somewhere.

  2. Thank you, I quite like it. I don't think I'd ever be able to live with wall to ceiling wall again.

Although I still quite fancy IDVs house.

  3. I am more alarmed by the fluffy pink seat cover....was that on purpose ...or did a passing acrylic have a heart attack on spotting the Spice Girls greatest hits ???

  4. What fluffy pink seat cover?

You mean my bright red authentic real life lamb skin?

If that's the case, yes it is there on purpose. It did not just walk in and find my copy of Spice Girls Greatest Hits and fall over the chair.

  5. I almost feel sorry enough for those poor CDs to send you my CD racks.

    Almost.

  6. P.S. Good to see the Bond Themes and Dannii Minogue's Neon Nites. And is that a Mix CD in the bottom right corner? Martin & Peter? Hmmm?

  7. My god! Did you gut Elmo from Sesame Street for that seat cover?!

Get yourself a nice rack fast.

  8. Tim: I have a nice rack.

    So does T-Bird.

  9. Well, I can relate about the CDs. I've got 3 shoe boxes and a small box with all my CDs (and some tapes!). I still haven't decided what to do with them.

The red chair covering caught my eye as well. It's the silence of the lambs! It looks soft, but how do you clean it? Now, just because lambskin feels good doesn't mean it'll protect from social diseases (like syphilis or children). Latex is best! (Unless you're allergic to it :O )

  10. IDV 1: That is ever so kind of you. Oh almost . Shucks!

IDV 2: I know, someone should buy poor Danniis albums. I've got that, her Greatest errr 'hits' and the single Perfection.

Yes, that indeed is a mix CD. Hmmm?

Tim: I totally believe in killing animals, Henderson puppets and others for fashion.

    I almost got IDVs racks.

MJ: Can I keep all my CDs in it or do I need T-Birdys fabulous rack as well?

Bingowings: I don't like children so I probably won't have any visiting. Also I rarely have, um, relations? on that chair.

I just bought it the other week so I haven't quite gotten to that part yet. Although, it says you can wash it gently in a washing machine at low heat and dry immediately.

    It is VERY soft.

  11. The handy thing about being in a box is you can chuck the cd's straight on the fire . . .

although the Alanis Morrisette album is a classic - always good when you've got a bit of angst.

I did click to enlarge the pic - there are some very disturbing pics in your photo album! Go check them out everyone.

  12. Hmmmmm. I think that's the only angst CD I've got and I've listened to it once or twice. I think it was peer pressure that made me buy it.

Which ones were they? The Sims photos? They are part of my Celebrity Big Brother extravaganza. You should check that out Frobi!

    Tim: Down boy.

    MJ: You slut!

  16. I never thought of taking a photo of my CDs! Maybe that'll be my next thing. They're actually all put away on the shelves in my stereo cabinet.

I too have Alanis Morisette and The Spice Girls cds.

  18. Just giving my public what they want.

  19. Tara: We really have a diverse taste in music don't we?

    Uh uh uh tagged! YAY!

MJ: Of course you are. That doesn't make you less of a slut though.

  20. I actually have some of those CDs!

  21. The Madonna, the Alanis, and the Spice Girls ones...I can't quite make out the rest, but I buy music compilations CDs, too. They're good for long drives when I want to stay awake--can't listen to easy listening or slow music that'll make me fall asleep at the wheel!
