Kool & the Gang

I finally managed to install The Sims 3 on my trusty new MacBook last night. One of the most entertaining things about the game, is creating the Sims that you later play with. Yes, I love playing the charaters of course, but half the fun is creating Sims and styling them later and all that girlie stuff. Well, it IS a girlie game afterall.

Now with the risk of getting shunned from the Coven and Roses having me assasinated or worse, I have decided to release the photos exclusively to you, my dear readers. Here goes

Can you see who's who? Well, in case you can't, here's the list.

Obviously I've taken some liberties, creative calls and had a bit of fun doing them. Please don't be offended. With Miss Scarlet I was sort of going for a Marilyn vibe but she ended up looking a little like Amanda Lepore. Sorry.

Update

Two major things happened over the past few weeks. First off, I finally became an adult. That feels so strange to say, but I actually feel like an adult now. Sure, I've had a proper job for over five years now and pay taxes and TV license and all that however I never learned to drink coffee.

My evil brother tried to teach me that when I was 15 and I couldn't swallow it because it tasted awful. It was a bitter taste in my mouth everytime and I tried everything. Milk, sugar and a combination. No matter what I just couldn't get it down. He tried for a few years and eventually gave up. Thank god.

Then Thursday last week I was having one of those days at work where I could hardly focus on anything because I was just that tired. A colleague was offering to get some Lattés and I piped in asking for one too. Just to see if I still hated it. The worst thing that could happen was that it tasted awful and in that case I'd just not drink it. Do you know what? It didn't taste as horrible as I had thought. Sure, I added a bit of brown cane sugar to sweeten it but it was a huge step.

Of course I felt queasy, my tongue felt fuzzy and I had a strange bitter taste in my mouth afterwards but the effect was worth it. I was ready to force more bad credits to give up their cars. I felt like a caffeinated car repo monster. The caffeine pumping through my veins at speeds previously unheard of. It was nice. Today I had my first Latté without sugar, I felt even more queasy and my tongue more fuzzy but I got through the day. Today I became an adult. A proud Latté drinking adult.

The other thing that happened was the release of

Photobucket

and it's absolutely fantastic! Which is also why I probably won't surface as much for a loooong time. Well, of course I've got other things going on like my trip to see Madges Stale and Bitter tour in London in early July, The Beautiful Festival (Skanderborg Festival, DK) opened by Kylie on August 6 and my US tour from August 8 to September 1st. Lots of planning and Sim'ing.

La vita é bella, si?

T for Tramp or something

Eroswings (affectionally dubbed Bingowings by me) did this meme to the letter S and gave us an offer we here at Sayhey couldn't refuse.

Here are the instructions: How this meme works is that you leave a comment on this post, and I'll assign you a letter. Then you write about ten things you love that begin with your assigned letter, and post it at your place. When people comment on your list, you give them a letter, and the chain continues on and on.

I was given the letter T. Bless. So here we go.

T is for Tuc crackers.

These fabulous salty (I prefer the plain salt ones) crackers bring back a pleasant memory from my childhood. We had them twice a year. For the Danish Eurovision show and again for the International Eurovision show. We would always sit down and watch the Eurovision together while having cheese and crackers. These were my crackers of choice. There is nothing really special about them as they are just a plain golden cracker with salt on it and holes in it. But I liked them and I still do. Maybe I'll have some later.

T is for Tea.

I like tea. To be honest I haven't always liked tea. It was the drink I'd order if I was given the choice between coffee and tea because it was the lesser of two evils. Over the years I've come to appreciate it a lot. Sitting on the sofa wrapped up in a blanket with a cup of tea or being at High Tea is a wonderful thing. Two very separate things though. I've come understand why a lot of people treat tea as something very important. Because surely it is. It's more than just a hot drink.

T is for Travel.

I love to travel but I rarely do it as I get very comfortable where I am and the interest disappears. This is why I've never made it outside Europe. On the map above you can see where I've been. When I was filling out the thing on the website I was shocked that I've never been to Norway but on the other hand, why should I go there? The list of where I've been is, as you can see, quite short. So here it is.

Denmark - I've travelled all over Denmark multiple times with my parents. So much I've grown quite sick of it.

Sweden - I've been there a few times, but most of the time it's been a one day experience because really, what's to see in Sweden?

Germany - I've gone on multiple one day trips there, mostly to buy cheap alcohol and candy. However I did spend a week at a luxury hotel in Wismar and another week by the lake in Plön.

Poland - While in Germany we drove all the way to Poland just to say we had been there. We didn't see anything of interest but I'm sure there are many things of interest in Poland.

The Netherlands + Belgium - Two countries I drove through once with a friend who worked as a truck driver on our way to France to deliver some toys. It was exactly what I needed that summer. Something bad had happened and I was ready and willing to escape for a week. Sadly the trip was cut short because of something shipping related. We did however spend one night in either Belgium or The Netherlands and it was lovely. I've driven through once before on my way to Paris.

France - I spent a lovely week in Paris during Easter once.

Spain - Been to Mallorca twice.

Italy - I've spent a week in both Riva by Lago di Garda and Rimini (all I remember from Rimini was the fantastic beach) both times bus trips and if I ever go to Italy again it will NOT be by bus. You'd think we learned that the first time around, but no.

San Marino - While in Rimini we drove to San Marino. I can't remember anything from there. I do however remember a spaghetti incident.

Austria - I've spent a very long week in Austria. It rained a lot. All week. We did get to see a lot though, including snowy mountains and Gross Glockner.

Hungary - I've been to Budapest. I went with my graduating class in 1998 and we had an OK time. Some better than others but it wasn't really that bad. Loads of designer shops and the prices were pretty low compared to say London. I'm sure all the nouveau riche were having a field day there. I tell you a bunch of 20 year olds on government student funding felt like they could buy the town.

Greece - I've been to both Crete and Rhodes. Lovely places, but I prefer Crete to Rhodes.

England - London. I've never been anywhere else in England but I do have a love affair with London. My favorite place in London is definately Russell Square.

T is for The Queen.

I could mean our Queen Margrethe II or HRH Queen Elizabeth II and while I adore both and the Royal families and all that comes with that it's not exactly what I mean. Well I do, I mean the movie The Queen because it allowed us a sneak peek inside the Royals private life. Obviously most of what goes on in the movie is pure speculations but it's still an interesting movie and the actors did an amazing job. Helen Mirren was spot on and James Cromwell as Prince Philip - I've got chills. He was such a nasty bugger. Please don't tell Prince Philip I said that. I don't want to be excluded from their next big bash.

T is for The Devil Wears Prada

I love that movie. Of course I adore both Anne Hathaway and movies about the fashion industry. Prêt à Porter is another favorite. A bitchy Meryl Streep is also always a treat. The Devil Wears Prada is one of my favorite movies of 2006.

T is for The Snow Garden

A book I love so very much by Christopher Rice son of vampire book writer Anne Rice. I've read it 3 times. Last year I read his most recent book Blindfall and I'll be mentioning that in a future post. If you want to know about the book, and Christopher Rice click on his name.

T is for The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis

I've got the book but I haven't made it further than the first story of Narnia. A great story that I remember watching a cartoon version of when I was a kid and also remember reading many moons ago. In fact I made it as far as book 4 - The Silver Chair before calling it quits. Not because the stories weren't good but rather because I had other things on my mind than reading.

T is for The Sims 2

It's the one PC game that can still keep me entertained these days. I don't play it a lot these days but it's more or less the only PC game I've played since 2004. It's also the game I've spent the most money on. It's cost me a small fortune in Xtra Packs and Expansion Packs but I've only been too happy to fork out the money for the Sims goodness.

T is for Too Far a track by Kylie Minogue

The track 'Too Far' is in my opinion one of her best because it's different. It is taken from the album originally called Impossible Princess but changed swiftly as Diana went and died around the release. They panicked and named it Kylie Minogue, which was also the same title as her previous album creating much confusion. It was re-released years later with a bonus disc with loads of remixes of this song with it's original title. Even now, 10 years later it stands as a great track that doesn't feel dated at all.

T is for TV series.

I'm a big fan of TV and over the years I've become quite the fan of TV series of all types. Some good, some bad and some very very ugly. The shows I watch now are Desperate Housewives, Gossip Girl, Doctor Who, Ugly Betty, Heroes, Dirty Sexy Money, Bones and Boston Legal (I haven't watched any of the new season). Although I've seen quite a few of my favorite shows slowly die or suddenly taken off the air, I remember most fondly Gilmore Girls. Other shows worth mentioning are Dynasty and Las Vegas.

The best opening to a TV series ever!

Celebrity Big Brother: Coven Edition day 3

The other day on Celebrity Big Brother: Coven Edition we had an interview with T-Birdy in which she introduced the newest housemates. Her very own Peecat and Pete. This week things heat up as new things have been added to the Big Brother House. We'll be right back after these messages.

Welcome back to Celebrity Big Brother: Coven Edition.

T-Birdy immediately started bonding with Peecat playing cat teaser. Oh how she had missed Peecat. Even if it had started killing her new sofa.

Everyone except IDV sat around the new long table to eat breakfast. Cereal, the breakfast of champions. Dora had served the food, and the rest started digging in, without a second thought to the efforts of the lovely Dora. That is, everyone except Dinah who sat there thinking how lucky she was to get out of cooking duty. She just wished there was a Tim Hortons around, especially one that delivered. Alas, she was in Pleasantview, it was too old country for that.

After the others had finished breakfast, IDV came home from his Big Brother job. Promoted to backup dancer. He was well on his way to fame! Little did he know that he had to go back to work very soon.

While IDV was just coming back, Pete and Tim were in one of the bedrooms cooking up a strategy. In case there was a voting off ceremony soon. Pete wanted his back covered in case. Was Tim sincere, and what exactly did they discuss?

Meanwhile in the living room T-birdy was playing a coy game of chess with a neighbour Brittany Wendland. What was her game?

Dinah played with Peecat in the hall. It seemed like Peecat had been forgotten due to other Big Brother activities. Like the massive basketball court outside, the dart board and the hottub.

Then it was time for another meal. Grilled Cheese. Brittany was invited to join the gang. IDV was nowhere to be found. Had he gone back to work, or was he UP to something?

After the meal, Pete went to exercise in the newly redecorated exercise room. IDV had picked out some kicky wallpaper for the room.

Dora went out back by herself to shoot some darts. She went there to think, about life and all that. She was not sure if she'd had it with blogging yet. Even if she had said goodbye on her blog.

T-Birdy and Tim went for a game of chess while Dinah went to bed. She was a little tired and depressed. All the commotion with actually being in a reality show was a bit much.

Dora and Tim had joined Brittany in the new hottub. Pete was standing next to it considering if he should dive in. IDV tried to ignore the happy vibes at the hottub while he made his way in to play a game of chess with a new mystery Sim.

Dora, Tim, Brittany and newcomer Pete chilled out in the tub. "What's with IDV" Pete asked. Tim grinned and said "I think he's just jealous, you know he wants to get into my pants". Brittany looked at Tim "Really? That's such a shame I have the hugest crush on him". They all laughed.

Then Dora and Pete went to bed. Leaving Tim and Brittany alone to talk. "So, who was your best kiss?" Brittany asked. Tim looked at Brittany, closed his eyes and thought. "Well I haven't kissed anyone in here yet" he came back. Then he got up and went to bed.

Next time on Celebrity Big Brother: Coven Edition

Who is the mystery Sim, IDV is talking to.

Is there romance in the air? Is IDV really gay?

And who is the guy doing a striptease in the shower? Or more importantly, who is he doing it for?

Stay tuned for more Celebrity Big Brother: Coven Edition

Celebrity Big Brother: Coven Edition day 2

The other day on Celebrity Big Brother: Coven Edition we saw the Coven moving in, IDV getting his first Big Brother job, T-birdy got a mysterious phone call and Tim was flirting with Tiffany Zarubin. The plot thickened when Dina and Nina Caliente arrived with their friend Mortimer Goth. Especially the latter making Dora interested. But who did call T-Birdy?

We'll be right back after these messages.

T-Birdy is in the confessional telling us exactly who was on the phone and what was said.

Interviewer: So who called you?
T-Birdy: I got a call from a really lovely guy who turned twentyten yesterday.
Interviewer: Can you elaborate?
T-Birdy: Well, he said that he'd be joining the rest of us today and he was bringing a surprise.
Interviewer: Can you tell the viewers who this person is?
T-Birdy: Of course, it's the lovely Pete

This is him. Obviously the artist has taken some liberties, but this is him in his everyday wear.

Here he is in this fabulous H&M suit.

He wears Diesel underoos, but hates the colour.

Pete wears proper PJs, none of that homoerotic stuff.

Of course, being a label queen he wears Emporio Armani swimming trunks.

He also keeps his shirt on while exercising unlike one of the Coven members. I think it's because he is a lot less fit.

Obviously he has class which is why he wears this outside when it gets cold.

Interviewer: Wow that's quite a secret to keep! You all thought this was all about the Coven.
T-Birdy: Yes. We had no idea that Pete was such a narcissist. Still it may be fun to have him join.
Interviewer: You aren't afraid this will cause tension in the group? Afterall he is just a flying monkey.
T-Birdy: We love him, he's fabulous. Of course, if it comes down to an elimination and he's nominated.
Interviewer: Then what?
T-Birdy: Well... See you at Dolce & Gabbana Pete!
Interviewer: This surprise he's bringing to the house. Do you know what it is?
T-Birdy: Yes, I do.
Interviewer: Are you allowed to tell us?
T-Birdy: He's bringing 20,000 Simileons and Peecat with him.
Interviewer: Wow, that must be really exciting for you.
T-Birdy: Well, while in the Big Brother house, Peecat belongs to the Sayhey family.
Interviewer: What does that mean?
T-Birdy: If Pete is kicked out of the house, so will Peecat.
Interviewer: Thank you so much for taking the time out to talk to us.

Pete joins the Big Brother house.

Thank you so much for joining us today. We'll leave you with the cast of Celebrity Big Brother: Coven Edition

Celebrity Big Brother: Coven Edition day 1

Last night we saw the arrival of the new celebrity Big Brother contestants. The Big Brother house was ready for them.

While the Coven was settling in upstairs Ron came by and placed a present on the front steps. The contents of which was a computer.

Tonight the excitement continues as the Coven settles in and gets on with life in the Big Brother house. Mysterious guests arrive, tasks are handed out and who exactly calls T-Birdy? And now, we continue with Celebrity Big Brother: Coven Edition.

The doorbell rang and IDV came down to answer. He had a long talk with Tiffany Zarubin the spokeswoman of the Garden Club. As we know IDV loves gardening so they had much to discuss. They spoke about everything from hibiscus to sunflowers. Even water features were mentioned as IDV had big plans for the large garden.

Tiffany then moved her way upstairs to Doras room where she met T-Birdy. T-Birdy was immediately taken by Tiffanys story about her cat getting stuck on the roof. Oh how she missed Peecat. She couldn't stop thinking about how unfair it was that she couldn't bring Peecat with her. Afterall the Coven was fine with it. Even IDV who wasn't a big cat person even though he was a witch.
Dora meanwhile booted up the new computer that was left on the doorstep by Ron when they arrived. She wanted to find a job so they could get better furniture.

Meanwhile Dinah was in her room training her ballet. She felt a little silly and over dressed in those clothes but some schmuck had put them in her suitcase instead of that cute outfit she'd planned on taking.

IDV had decided to take to the exercise bike as he was going to his first Big Brother job in the morning. As an aerobics instructor. Oh joy! Not exactly what he'd had in mind when he persuaded the other Coven members to sign up. He didn't even know what the idea behind this Big Brother event was about. The other Coven members were not aware of this.

Tiffany Zarubin really got around. She and Tim were playing a romantic game of chess by the window. A photo that surely will make the cover of the Sun tomorrow. What was Tims motivation behind this? She is much older than Tim, not to mention that she is a horrible dresser. What was going through Tims head when he kept leading her on?

Dora answered the doorbell when it rang again. Now arrived the sisters Dina and Nina Caliente and Mortimer Goth. Dora immediately smelled money and short life expectancy and went to talk to Mortimer. Much to the blonde Dinas nuisance. Nina just stood by watching.

Then T-Birdy got a mysterious phone call. Who called T-Birdy? Why wouldn't she say? Meanwhile the guests made themselves at home in the house.

Then it was time for dinner. Lunch meat sandwiches. Dinah set the table while the guests waited.

After dinner IDV went to bed and T-Birdy cleaned the kitchen. She felt it was important to keep the house clean. Afterall they were going to stay there a while. Plus if Peecat would somehow make it into the house there shouldn't be any human food laying around.

Later some of the others decided to have some spaghetti. Dora still trying to make her move on Mortimer and Dinah trying to diffuse the situation. Nina just ate, biding her time until she could create some kind of scandal.

In the morning IDV got up and made his bed, preparing for his first job as an aerobics instructor. Oh joy he thought. He needed something to laugh at.

T-Birdy came to the rescue rehearsing her new pirate stripper routine in the upstairs bathtub. She wondered why there was no stripper pole. And where was the bar? There should be both. Hmmmm, they had to earn that. They didn't want to get a drunk Crazy James incident in the house again.

As IDV left for work, he spotted the cute postman. He looked really good in yellow didn't he?

Stay tuned for more Coven fun in the Celebrity Big Brother: Coven Edition.
