I remember this dude and this song, back when he was still Terence D'arby; although, I did confuse him with that dude from Fine Young Cannibals--I just thought Terence took out the dreads...
Bingowings: Do you reckon he has visited one of those numerology people?
Not an easy signature indeed.
Tim: Well, you may be right about that. There is a lot of 80s junk out there but there is a lot of fantastic 80s music too.
T-Birdy: He does look like of those guys but one committed suicide years ago and I can't remember what happened to the other. I have no clue if it was Milli or Vanilli that died.
I like that song and Darby's song, "Sign Your Name". "Sign your name across my heart, I want you to be my baby, sign your name across my heart, I want you to be my laaaday.." Good song.
Aye aye aye!

MJ Ya yayaya!
Bingowings Oh he dropped the Trent?
Makes for better, faster and easier autographs. Although he probably hasn't signed many in the last two decades.
Yeah.
ReplyDeleteThough I preferred "Sign Your Name".
i remember the arby guy (that's what we called him) but never heard this song...
ReplyDeleteCP, he calls himself Sananda Maitreya now; I don't think that's any easier to sign on autographs;
ReplyDeleteThis is a wicked song. And you don't get to say that about too many 80s songs.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or did anyone ever do a double take a Milli Vanilli and think TTD was one of them?
ReplyDeleteKAZ: I'll have to check that one out.
ReplyDeleteDaisy: Arby, isn't that a restaurant?
