What to wear to the Oscars?

When picking out an outfit for any occation you pick the shoes first and everything else comes together. You look through your shoe closet or go shoe shopping and then everything is fine. Despite credit crunches and talks of financial responsibility we still need a bit of extravagance. I'm sure you'll all agree. So like when I was attending an MJ extravaganza in Canada I had to go find new shoes. I managed to get my hands on these babies.

The Valentino Jeweled Bow d'Orsay. Isn't it just divine? When that's taken care of the rest all comes to you. So keep your eyes on the red carpet tonight!
Despite the financial situation I'm sure we'll see a lot of fabulous outfits. I know mine will be vintage. Possibly Givenchy.

  2. Let's see... if I wore shoes like those, I would be 6'1". And would likely break an ankle trying to walk.

Can you tell I don't 'do' heels?!?!?

They are lovely if you don't have to walk anywhere.

Does that portend something good or bad?

  5. Scarlet: I'm not sending you these. They are mine.

    All mine bwahahahahahaaha!

Ponita: You should start to 'do' heels. No matter how tall they make you. Just find a tall escort.

I think it's a good thing, but then I'm not that smart so..

Mago: Maybe, maybe not. Didn't you spot me on the red carpet?

  6. CP: It seems most of the men in this area are of Ukranian or Polish descent and are 5'6" and built like a brick shithouse.

    Not going there.....

Another reason why you should move.

Funny you should mention this because as I was on my way home yesterday, I passed by a discount (think Payless) shoe store and thought...

Besides having your basic needs met, i.e. food, shelter, etc., ...Everyone should have the right to fabulous shoes.
