And I saw The Freakin' Green Elf Shorts rising out of the hedge
And a blasphemous name upon its back
And The Freakin' Green Elf Shorts that I saw were green
Their waistband red
And their legs had bells upon their ends
And to it the wearer gave his power
And the whole earth followed The Freakin' Green Elf Shorts with wonder
And they worshipped The Freakin' Green Elf Shorts saying
"Who is like the wearer of The Freakin' Green Elf Shorts and who can fight against the wearer of The Freakin' Green Elf Shorts ?"
And they opened their mouthes to utter blasphemous words against their wearer.
They were allowed to make war on the wearer and to conquer
And authority was given them over every tribe
And a people and tongue and nation
And all who dwell on earth could worship The Freakin' Green Elf Shorts in vain
If anyone has a blog let them read the captions
If anyone who makes the winning caption
Then he or she must wear them
Come back again tomorrow of course on Thursday
Yo! First!
ReplyDeleteYou are writing up a storm here, CP! How very cool....
Now... tell us again why we have to wait until April whenever to find out who won????
I see you've commissioned a painting of the big sleepover at MJs!
ReplyDeleteYes Pete daahling - we all "worship The Freakin' Green Elf Shorts" but we need to move on sometime.
ReplyDeleteI love that Hieronymus Bosch paintng - it looks like all of MJ's posts rolled into one.
What the hell is that owl doing?
ReplyDeleteSx
...is waiting...
ReplyDeleteIt's the ultimate Filthy Friday.
ReplyDeletePonita: Because it's more fun that way?
ReplyDeleteBingowings: Absolutely!
KAZ: Heh. I suppose Bosch is one of MJs forefathers?
I am not a fan of Bosch, and this one really gives me the creeps because The Garden of Earthly Delighs was one we analyzed in school and I read a book that referenced it. *shudders*
Scarlet: I can't find the owl. I looked and looked and...
fish - check
butterflies - check
naked people with roses up their arses - check
goats - check
naked people frolicking - check
Daisy: Come back tomorrow and of course Thursday.
MJ: I bet it is. Except less graphic and more artsy.
