Can't get blue Monday out of my head

Well it's blue Monday again. Another horrid Monday. So per tradition I'm making it a little more colourful.

As I've mentioned for the past Mondays, there is too little blue food. This is something I'm on a mission to change. So without further ado I give you todays dinner.

Bon appetit!

  1. I'm curious - did the blue dye affect the taste/smell of the rice?

  2. Nah, the rice taste absolutely fine. There was no odd taste. I was a bit scared about tasting it because they did look very blue.

    Still they were lovely

  3. I think you should post a photo of your tongue after you've eaten all this blue food.

  4. You know, the colour doesn't stick.

I thought it would look horrid though.

  5. Have you made the blue soup Bridget Jones prepares yet?

Rice does need more color, now and then.

  6. No, I have feeling that the blue soup that Bridget prepares isn't entirely healthy.

Maybe I'll do a blue soup.

  11. Savannah: Kool!

    Sparkly Tim: Why not?

My drunken aunt has silver wear that looks almost like it just nicer, in actual silver.

I'm hoping I'll get that when she keels over.

    Bingowings: Tee-hee!

  13. Alright, so your probably discovered this the next few days after eating your blue rice, but I'll share anyway.
So I had a blue-food potluck, and everyone brought blue-dyed food.
I observed, as did many other attendees that our poo was various shades of blue and green for the next week.
I can't even imagine what our intestines looked like.
