Sunjelly jelly motion

Now this cut of Kylies video for 'Wow' was pulled because it has too much strobe lighting. So warning to all with tendency to epilepsy. It's fabulous though.

The question is, does she sing 'sunjelly jelly motion'?

Ok, she's not, but it sounds that way doesn't it? I find that really funny.

  1. Catchy song; terrible space suits. I like some of the dance moves. The lighting and disposable plastic picnic ware costumes were distracting!

*Moves sharp objects out of MJ's reach as she is seizing*

  3. MJ: Awwww.

Bingowings: I'm quite taken by the video. Although I've seen better.

I love her blue nails and the bits with the neon lights behind them. The end bit with the closeup of the walking is fab. It goes so great with the music.

TimTams: I know, I love it too!

  4. I love the song and quite like the video, but it looks cheap (probably wasn't, though). I much prefer In Your Eyes for dance moves, costumes and lightshows, though.

  6. IDV: You are right, it probably wasn't. From that album I quite liked Love at First Sight. In Your Eyes was gorgeous though. It really worked on every level.

TimTams: I would Zing! but that's Dinahs job.

  7. CP, I like the song and the dances, but it gets really dark in some places and I can't quite make out the faces; and some of the costumes make me go 'What the...?' They look like grade school arts and crafts projects!

As for the misheard lyrics, I remember that Boy George song, Karma Chameleon. I first heard it as a school kid, and for years afterward, I thought he was singing, "Come on Come on Come on to me, Leon". I had no clue what karma was, much less why anyone would use chameleon in a song!

  8. I saw her at a Scissor Sisters show, trying to dance and avoid the gloomy clutches of Karl Lagerfeld at the same time. I love her. One of my favorite NYC star spottings...

  9. Ah well , what can I say :-)

  10. Bingwings: I gave up trying to find out what Boy George sang.

Leah: I am rubbish at spotting celebrities. Mostly because we have and get very few here. I did once see the guy Paw from Infernal (Danish band most(or only) famous for the song "From Paris to Berlin"). He was just biking along and my knees turned to jelly.

    Beastie: I don't know, what?
